Eight years ago I set off on an adventure, one of becoming a small business owner, creating over 600
blending’s of scents we could call our own. Packing up and moving across the country after only two years,
countless surgeries to keep me both alive and in working order, traveling across state lines to meet
customers, many of whom I now have the pleasure to call friends, and even more of you who are on the
other end of this little device I hold in my hand that connects each and every one of us on this big ole rock
circling the sun. And here I sit finally ready to admit what has been swirling in my mind for the past year…
it’s time we start another adventure. One that has our sights set on a distant galaxy, but this time without
this crazy brand I dreamt up all those years ago.


It’s time I finally announce the end of Moonbeams; our own Supernova if you will.


In the coming months we will be saying ‘sayonara’ to Moonbeams. While there is not a set date or
definitive ending, it’s looking like March will be our final month in business, as we still have some more
product to make up and send to your orbits one last time. The opening act of Spring seems like a fitting
final bow for me to take before I embark on the next chapter.

I want to say thank you to each and every one of you who has purchased from my store, clicked like on a
post, shared scents with friends, or even mentioned Moonbeams to someone you know. Every one of
those things has helped us be able to reach 47/50 states, and seven countries around the world. It’s truly
baffling to think that something I created in my mind could come to fruition, and be held by someone over
6,000 miles away and put a smile on their face. It’s truly been the most rewarding and humbling experience
and there’s just not enough words to express my sincere gratitude and love.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and be a part of my life in such a special way. Losing two friends
in the past week has put such an altering spin on what matters, what’s important, and what I would like to
spend my ‘free’ time doing. It’s time to get out of the Moonbase and back into the world again.

So with that, I can announce that we will be doing some holiday scents debuting in November, along with
one last ‘Best of the Beams’ collection before the New Year. From there, we will be making the remaining
scents we have in our inventory (spoiler alert it’s a little bit of everything!) before we close the pod bay
doors and set our navigators to a new galaxy. After next week’s annual pilgrimage down to Fest, I will have
a date for the next restock, and a holiday scent list posted in the usual places. I love you damn it, and
thank you again for your love and support.
